Israel’s new Ambassador to the UN in Geneva takes post

Israeli Ambassador, Aviva Raz Shechter, was appointed the new permanent representative of Israel to the UN and other international organizations in Geneva on Monday, according to Permanent Mission of Israel, United Nations-Geneva.

Shechter presented her credentials to Michael Moller, Director-general of the United Nations Office at Geneva.

Shechter speaks Hebrew, English, Arabic and French and her service abroad included Amman (Jordan) and Washington DC (USA).
